Affectionately, known as the “motherboard” of CBD Architects, Sumera is the office go-to for project details from ceiling heights to the client’s phone number.  As sharp as her memory is her knowledge about the permit process and local building codes, thanks to her experience working directly for the Chicago Department of Buildings.

Born and raised in Hyderabad, India and educated in the United States has given Sumera a well-rounded perspective and shaped her career path.  In her free time she loves cooking traditional Indian food for her friends and family and most importantly, colleagues!
